Bart Verhagen (1983) studied Classical Singing at the Conservatory of Maastricht. He graduated in 2012 and got his Bachelors degree in Music (Performing and Teaching). In 2014 he obtained his Masters degree. Bart studied with Frans Kokkelmans and Jon Thorsteinsson. Recently the tenor was a soloist in the Krönungsmesse (Mozart), Mozart’s Requiem, Chilcott’s Requiem, Les Sept Paroles du Christ (Dubois) and the Paukenmesse (Haydn). He is part of the Schutz-Monteverdi Consort, where he sang the tenor solo part in the Mariavespers (Rosenmöller) and the Monteverdi-vespers. With his ensemble, Confetti Musicali, Bart regularly performs a divers program.He is also a much-sought chorister in both the Netherlands and abroad. In 2012 Bart took part in the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival-choir. With this choir he performed in Germany, France and China. Apart from his career as a singer, Bart attends the education of the Lichtenberger Institute in Darmstadt (Germany). Besides this, he is a teacher at the Conservatory of Maastricht, where he is in charge of the lessons Singing Methodology and Performance.
